Hi again, I decided to not pick either of the graffiti title banners I made for my blog simply because so many colors and patterns automatically clash with any fashion blog, even a monochromatic one.

The new banner idea was quickly inspired by this quick photo I took while testing my Photo Booth's extra effects I downloaded last year.  In this picture I'm deciding I never want to webcam not using the effect "Sharpen" ever again and trying to show the importance of eyebrow visibility while wearing sunglasses (even if a lot of effort is made physically in order to raise them that high).  These glasses are super unique and I love them dearly... snag yourself a pair

My ripped jeans are the shit it's crazy how for months I couldn't find any online but randomly one day while bored at the mall I strolled into Pac Sun and they were the first thing I saw. love at first sight

 ugh I want to start tweeting more (if you want to see if my attempts work, follow @lavagrantbelle), maybe if I just start tweeting Instagram shopping finds to  start... I just love how useful my iPhone 4 (not s, just  plain 4) continues to be and how all the App Store  apps continue to make my life fun and easier to blend  my social networks together all on my phone which I have with  me always obviously =).  I might be a little addicted to it... but my new LifeProof case is actuallly making  me use it less - don't get me wrong its a great waterproof case well worth the discounted under $50 (with Amazon free super saver shipping! :) price tag,  BTW if you ever need to find items to fill up a $5-10 gap to get free super saver shipping on Amazon simply check out my Pinterest board I created just for that reason. )I got it off Amazon (first thing I did was shower with my phone upon installation and gaining pleasure from running water on it safely >:D) - however, there is a tiny gap between the plastic screen protector sealed to the front of the case to make it watertight rendering my almost 2 years of speed typing iPhone practice a little useless but I'm getting used to it.

YouTube updated

Hey guys! When I first started my YouTube to make asian clothing site reviews I really didn't care about it much; it was more of a practice semi public (I say this because I hardly promoted or let on much that I had a YouTube) arena for video editing.  Even though I used iMovie for both my reviews that are up it was pretty easy lol. It just took me a while to figure out, anyway I got some emails that clued me into knowing my first video has a few thousand views so I decided to makeover my page and here's what I did ^_^.  I definitely wish I could customize the title to be a cool image but it's not a big deal.   Anyhow, I sold the camera that recorded in 720p video quality, all I have now is my MacBook's webcam for video recording, I wonder if it's worth it to try and make another review?  I have lots more Romwe clothes to review-all good :).  I definitely plan to make more videos in the future though so stay posted :b Ugh pretty soon (in about six days) I'll have to change the description of all my social network profiles' to being nineteen years old and I am not excited -_-.

BLOG MAKEOVER + ombre tights

Anyhow, today's CollegeBudget deal, (it's a site similar to Groupon for college students, you need a .edu email address to join but if you can I'd advise you to because CollegeBudget has more relatable items) is for $14 super cheap and chic 8GB flash drives made by Memory On Hand!  I've been feeling lately that rubber is becoming a trend in a lot of aspects of fashion (which reminds me I really need some rubber rain boots... I seem to recall looking for some and making Polyvore sets of them last year around this time and not finding the right ones), as are pastel colors and tie dye.  I personally chose the tri color one on the bottom right.  I usually don't impulse buy Groupon deals such as this but I like bracelets and external memory and I think they go well together.  Click on the picture to get yours ASAP before they run out!  

A couple weeks ago I also got a good Groupon deal for a local lingerie shop, the Pussycat.  I also had a $10 off any Groupon purchase coupon at that time, so I paid $15 for a $50 gift certificate to that really nice lingerie store, sells everything sexy from Hue leggings to beautiful corsets like this one I got :3  I love cheap things

 It also just so happens last night I found out that flash memory storage    encryption can easily be done with built in Mac features. I was stupidly  searching for programs for a bit there... lol to partition off part of my "flash drive" I already have, which is really a breast cancer themed (PINK!) awareness adapter that can read SD, MicroSD, and through the adapter I got for the MicroSD card that came with it, MicroSDHC.


Since it's an adapter, putting in MicroSDHC cards inside the MicroSD's is awesome because its like unlimited storage wherever and whenever. :)

It came very much to my surprise and delight today when I clicked on the "outfits" sections of romwe's link tabs that one of my looks was featured :) and, currently is still at this moment being featured as the latest Romwe "outfit".

I love my new snapback, I've wanted the plain black one for years actually but now that purple is my favorite color I had to buy this.  I got it at one of the random nameless hippie-like stores they have at the mall (lol), but you can buy it online for waaay cheap :-).

I figured my sporadic purchase of cheap on sale goth bows from Hot Topic would work perfectly with my new Romwe button down shirt which I chose for its' similarity to Cheap Monday styles.  It's crafted with quality a silky soft fabric, is flowy, and I feel as though it can make any outfit look badass and works well with the whole "pastel goth" theme I've had going on lately. :)

I also love these Charley point bow leggings! The bows are detachable and if I bought them new they would come with nude colored ones as well however I just got them on eBay for $28-the weird thing is I have coveted these leggings (they were too expensive for me full price back when I first spotted them about a year and a half ago) for so long and found them in my size on eBay for super cheap.. all thanks to one of my favorite discounted "buy it now" eBay stores- Linda's Stuff. Her eBay store is like a local designer consignment shop (my favorite kind of shop e v e r) online-with free shipping on everything and amazing bargains.  Off the top of my head I can't even think of a single upscale brand her store doesn't carry.

It's getting time to really feel like fall/winter like weather, and with the warm autumn colors and fresh breezes also comes rain unfortunately so I got this sickeningly cute umbrella from H&M for around $10.  Also with that purple scarf under it (Jessica Simpson brand-$12, found at a local consignment store brand new with tags), the pink belt (goodwill, $1, looks similar to signature American Apparel belts:

While on AA's site searching for photos of belts to add to the Polyvore set I quickly threw together for example belts to show the similarity between the one I thrifted, I found a beautiful spread of all of their ORGANIZATIONAL POUCHES :)  In my personal opinion, American Apparel's organizational pouches and laptop sleeves etc are extremely cute-but very overpriced and if you were to say, put a laptop in one of the bigger ones, then it doesn't seem to offer much protection in terms of padding and such.

(Michael Kors downtown satchel, in suede retail $398 [unable to even find on the internet] but I scored for an EXTREME low price) is full of pouches such as those from AA, however they're actually mostly random mixed design ones acquired at Goodwill and Salvation Army. Thrift stores are the best places for random zippered pouches I scored a LeSportSac for .99!

saturday morning

I've been not so great with blogging lately, however I have been changing my look and adding to it in the meantime-a lot.  My friend Matty who just recently received his license to practice cosmetology put keratin bonded extensions in my hair and together we dyed them teal, purple, and pink.  They were pretty vibrant and dark before I first washed them-because we never washed the dye out of the extensions.  Pastel hues in blonde hair are hard to achieve and hard to maintain especially.  My purple semi-permanent dye I used last month washed out within days.  However we figured if we gave the extensions the maximum time to absorb color that perhaps the pastel hues I have achieved after washing my hair will stick around longer this time.

Also, today was a nice chilly day to pair my new fall clothes from Romwe with my new Michael Kors bag :).

Next, I've acquired quite a few new cute things recently :)

Maybelline Baby Lips is my favorite lip balm ever due to the "taste" and shimmer :).  I've wanted a heart shaped purse for quite some time now and just found one :D It's not pastel as I have been wanting all of my new acquisitions to be, however I enjoy the poppy unusual color.  The bustier was on sale and fits alright, however I think when I am able to sew again I will crop it more and perhaps add studs.  The baroque sunglasses are my absolute favorite thing right now though!  They fit my face shape better than any other sunglasses I've ever owned.

This simple top from Glamour Kills is super soft casual and comfy... as you can see it's able to be a bit dressed up as well ^_^ especially with messy bed hair.
