Today was really warm but I'm tired as you can tell from my blank expression and am taking it for granted.

Today in addition to taking my regular lookbook photos I practiced candid photographs with the camera facing the mirror.  I have to get better but I think for a first time try they're pretty good!

I LOVE my new American Apparel skirt. I got the collegebudget deal where I paid only $25 for a $50 gift card basically.  The skirt was $45 I also got some weird orange-y nail polish I'm not even sure if it's still in the bag...

This is the new bag I got from Goodwill last weekend! It was originally $5 but I found a tag inside that said "75 cents" lol, so they sold it to me for that price because otherwise it would've been false advertising. Score!

campus photographer

This is going to be a double blog post for two days-I was too sick to even blog last night.  Literally, all I could do computer wise was look at Kardashian themed tumblrs... the younger sisters' photoshoots sort of inspire me lol.  Anyhow my friend asked me to photograph her (not for fashion but just to have nice looking photos not taken by herself) so I was excited because we went to a more public area to take pictures... I'm usually too skittish to go by myself there.  It's a pretty decent backdrop I guess...

It was sort of fun posing in front of my camera with a friend instead of it being like, my tripod and I.  Anyhow, I have other requests for people's photography all over campus! I'm glad because I can practice more :)  The only thing is at this point in time I'm pretty inconsistent with my editing I should probably make actions in Photoshop or something it's just that since my camera doesn't shoot RAW often times colors will be wildly different from one photo to the next even if the shoot was all in the same place-so therefore I am used to manually editing things.

Today's "shoot" was super casual and literally along the lines of five photographs or less. I'm sick :( But I am determined to post my daily outfits.

I went to class at 9am and 11am and then I went home and fell back asleep, woke up lots of times but couldn't get up out of bed until 1:15, my class was at 2 and I needed to shower and this is the only space of time available for me to take photographs for lookbook on Mondays...

My hair was still wet and I took like 10 pics real fast needless to say there weren't a lot of good ones...

I realize I don't usually edit my photos the same.. but I'm still learning. A famous look booker mentioned that her editing process takes hours, and she uses masks, etc.  I try to be quick with my blog photos, and maybe spend about 15 minutes on my actual lookbook one.  Once I get an SLR I'll definitely invest more time, but photos taken with any point and shoot are hard to edit without over editing and looking too obvious.  Anyhow, I just bought this blazer at Goodwill last night for $5.  For some reason that's expensive to me.. hahaha.

I painted my nails in like they're "dripping" last night. I used a pen.  Its sort of messy, but fun!

I was about to sell this bag on Etsy (it's vintage Dooney & Bourke) however I just couldn't.  Even though its practically useless for carrying important things lol.

I'm trapped in a constant blizzard. On average I drink about 6-7 cups of tea per day..

Anyway I love my new velvet skirt that my boyfriend got me :) I don't have very many velvet things so it was like, the perfect thing to get me... :p :)

l'oreal sublime bronze self tanning towelettes review

(I am aware this isn't portraying myself in a very attractive manner, but the public needs to be informed.)

I haven't posted anything in a few days because I was on a hectic trip home this weekend. Anyhow, before I post anymore looks I thought I'd review L'Oreal's self tanning towelettes.  

There are six of these in a pack, and I thought I'd get some color over during the winter because I'm sick of being pasty and white. They *claim* to be streak free, and I promise even though I am sort of new at this I did a thorough, careful job of wiping this on myself but still got streaky :/.  Over two weeks I applied it four separate times, trying to repair streaks at the same time by not applying too much to already tanned parts and a little more to the streaky parts, and of course using a loofah to try to erase streaks.

The color worked well on my body, just not my limbs.  I have  a few streaks on my legs; also my back was tough to reach so I possibly have a little spot lol.

As for the smell? It's not that bad but it definitely lingers until the next shower.  Not even perfume can mask the smell. 

I think I'm going to switch to a lotion-Jergen's to be exact.
